The great Hebrew leader who demanded freedom from the Egyptian Pharaoh, as outlined in the Torah, is Moses. He is a central figure in the Hebrew Bible and known for his role in the Exodus, where he led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. This pivotal event is characterized by Moses’ confrontation with Pharaoh, demanding the release of the Hebrew people, which ultimately resulted in the ten plagues and the parting of the Red Sea. Moses is often regarded as the lawgiver, having received the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai, further solidifying his leadership role in the establishment of the Israelite faith and identity. The significance of Moses extends beyond this narrative as he is central to Jewish religious heritage and is respected in various religious traditions, including Christianity and Islam.

The other figures mentioned, such as Abraham, David, and Solomon, played important roles in the biblical narrative but are not associated with the exodus from Egypt. Abraham is primarily seen as the patriarch of the Hebrew people, David is celebrated as a king and a warrior who united the tribes of Israel, and Solomon is known for his wisdom and for building the First Temple in Jerusalem. Their narratives do not involve the liberation from Egyptian bondage, making Moses the correct answer.
